From the main Beach of Ayia Napa
20-30 min walk to the East
This is where it is.
On the sat pic above you can see the main road coming from Ayia Napa, going to
Cape Greco and also the path along the coast. The path is shown also on the pic below.
This is a nice little beach, 30 min walk from the centre of Ayia Napa or along the coast to the east.
With a car its only 5 min. There is a life guard there, sun beds and umbrellas, toilets and shower,
drink and snack kiosk. Not many tourists go there, but mostly locals who like the quite places.
Behind the hill its a remote rocky area where people go for naked sunbathing or for being alone..
Sun and sea and fresh air can be very stimulating.. You know...
As you can see on the picture, the stone path goes further up after this beach. About 10 min walk and
there is another small beach and after that, its the Kermia Beach Hotel, which is the last hotel of the
Ayia Napa East area. After that, its the high hill called Cape Greco.
Sun beds and Umbrellas belong to the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
It costs ca 2euro per bed or umbrella. The life guard who works there
is also for the beds responsible.
The little Caravan-Kiosk a few meters behind.
Cold drinks and snacks in good prices.
This is a rather dangerous area for swimming if the sea is rough.
But usually, especially when the wind is from the land,
its really nice, its very calm and clear.
Pic taken on a beautiful morning in September.
A nice and quiet place!
